I never remember to take video on my phone, but apparently I recorded about 2 minutes in 2013, and this is it. :) Some lo–fi highlights of Ship & Shape's year including snippets of our lookbook shoots, summer pop-up shop, and Erin's birthday involving lots of dancing and pizza. Also want to tell you that Anonymous Choir just put out a cover record of Neil Young's After the Gold Rush and it's mighty fine. We'll have more updates to share real soon — here's to good things in the new year.
SHIP & SHAPE will be in Milwaukee this Saturday for Art vs. Craft! Come visit us between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and shop picks from our collection in real life.
We also have two upcoming events in Minneapolis — Sunday December 8th from 12 to 5 p.m. at Mille, and Sunday the 15th at Honeycomb. You'll find ceramics, home goods, fine handmade jewelry and accessories, and festive paper goods from our shop as well as more favorites from local makers. Come to enjoy treats, get in the holiday spirit, and pick up gifts for everyone on your list. We hope to see you there!
Oh man, we had the best weekend!
Michelle of Mille (the new name of Shop Pretty Mommy) was nice enough to host us for a pop-up shop to feature our new collection. We moved right in for 2 days, and our goods have never looked better. Michelle's space in South Minneapolis is bright, open, and super inviting. She carries some of our favorite designers, and it felt great to see our offerings in such good company. In addition to showing off the new collection and hosting a really fun shopping party, we went wild looking at all of Michelle's beautiful goods in stock.
Thanks to Rachel for playing the harp and looking so magical while doing it, and thanks to Alina for mixing up some of the best cocktails we've ever had. Hibiscus and rose quartz infused tequila? Yes!
